A HOP STAR AT HARVEST

Peachy Little Thing “really started at last year’s hop selection,” says Isaiah Mangold, our Manager of Innovation. “We rubbed a hop called Alora that was just a star because of its very distinct peach notes.” But you always wonder, Will that show up once we start brewing? “Sure enough, we were getting really big stone-fruit flavor and aroma,” he says. And when we layered in real fruit character with those Alora hops, Peachy Little Thing blew us away with its flavor profile.

“It has that initial punch of peaches,” says Isaiah, “but as you keep sipping, it has all the complexity you expect from an IPA.” You might get notes of nectarine and cherry, perhaps some floral qualities, and just that fresh, classic hoppiness. Magnum hops impart a humble 18 IBU, just enough bitterness to “lift the beer off your palette a little bit,” Isaiah says, balancing the sweetness and keeping the mouthfeel silky. Every pour of this hazy is a hoppy peach harvest—enjoy it while you can!
